about
For the past two decades I have successfully promoted the business and culture to help place one company as a Best Companies to Work
for in Texas for six years, receiving multiple B2B marketing awards along the way. More importantly, my contributions have increased that company’s global brand awareness to gain deeper market penetration and to enter adjacent markets.
Today, I specialize in helping smaller, often private, businesses grow. With extensive experience working for—and consulting with—larger companies, I leverage proven practices to create tailored, cost-effective marketing actions to achieve your goals.
The '70s
Played outside until dark: neighborhood football, bottle-rocket wars, building proper forts in the woods, swinging on grape vines and hunting for snakes in creeks.
The '80s

Joined the Air Force. Stationed in England and Germany. Deployed to Saudi Arabia for a while.
Attended business school in Cambridge, England.
Bought a Mac+ and started my business setting type for London publishers and creating marketing material for local industry.
The '90s

Moved back to US and worked as a technical writer and graphic designer for energy companies and ad agencies.
Often worked late as a freelancer into the midnight hour.
2003

Moved back to England and joined a design agency. Rode my bike to and from work, often stopping at the pub on the way home. Surely this was man heaven.
I was an average player on the district’s best pool team.
2008

Moved back to US and got a job at an OEM. Worked my up to become their Global Brand & Communications Manager.
Make work fun.
